Chiba International Center will provide a opportunity for citizens and members who wish to actively participate in international exchange projects as volunteers, and will effectively implement international exchange projects held in the prefecture.
\nWe have “International Exchange Volunteer System”. (For details on this system, please see the outline of the International Exchange Volunteer System.) There are four types of volunteers: language volunteers, cultural volunteers, host family volunteers, Japanese language volunteers, and event volunteers.<\/span><\/p>\n

We are currently looking for language volunteers, especially Ukrainian and Russian. (Even if you are outside of Chiba prefecture, please register. Registration conditions<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Those who are 18 years of age or older and who agree with the purpose of the “International Exchange Volunteer System”. Those who wish to actively participate in international exchange projects held in the prefecture.<\/span><\/p>\n

About registration application <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Please fill in the required information and, apply online. (Applications are accepted at any time.) After reviewing the details, we will determine whether registration can be approved.<\/p>\n

Information regarding volunteer activities will generally be provided by email. Therefore, we kindly ask you to register an email address that you use regularly.<\/p>\n

Registration period<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

The registration period for international exchange volunteers is one year from April to March of the following year. Unless there is an objection to both the Chiba International Exchange Center and the registrant, it will be automatically renewed every year after the registration period expires.<\/span><\/p>\n

Language Volunteer<\/h2>\n

Japanese language Volunteer<\/h2>\n

Japanese language volunteers help foreigners learn Japanese. Those who have the motivation and background to support Japanese language learning for foreigners living in the prefecture are eligible for registration. Chiba International Center also offers training for Japanese volunteers.<\/span><\/p>\n

Host Family Volunteer<\/h2>\n

Host family volunteers invite foreigners such as international students to their homes and have them interact with each other while communicating Japanese life. There are two types of homestays, one with accommodation and one without. Family consent is required for registration.<\/span><\/p>\n
